Clay Monster Heads in Year 4/5!

As part of our Foundation topic work, children in Year 4 and 5 made clay pinch-pot monsters. They used clay modelling techniques and tools (as well as slip) to create a monster with various features!

As you can see from the pictures, some were more scary than others, with a range of different body parts.

“They were intriguing and it was interesting to make them” (Eden M)

“They were all questionable – I ¬†didn’t know what some of them were – one even looked like a duck!” (Josh T)

“The monsters were strange and had different features” (Logan L)

“We made horrifying monsters” (Taya M)

“I had fun making my own creature out of clay” (Mia H)

“I found it very fun making the clay models and I liked doing the details” (Lilly MR)

“MINE WAS GRUESOME – It had spiky teeth and a mohawk” (Jack H)
